Activity story

Bridge to Brisbane 2026 Training

Another run done, and Bridge to Brisbane is getting very close now.

This afternoon I covered 5.34 km in 38:39 at an average pace of 7:14/km. I’ll be doing the full 10K at Bridge to Brisbane, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little worried about the distance.

Right now the goal is simple: keep getting the kilometres into the legs and gradually build the confidence that I can cover the full 10K on race day. There’s not much time left, so every run counts.

The pace isn’t the priority at the moment — getting the distance done is. Hopefully a few more solid sessions between now and race day will make that 10K start line feel a little less daunting.
